Yellow Rose Eventing relies on the strength and support of our wonderful working students to keep everything running smoothly whether at home or on the road. Working students have unique opportunities to train in a competition oriented setting, network with the country's best riders, and travel to the best events in the United States, Canada and Europe.

Working Students

Working students live in shared apartment on the farm. An average workday is from 7:30am - 6pm. Being a small, private farm has its perks; our work load is less intense and there is more flexibility for training opportunities and "field trips". However, attention to detail, responsibility and timeliness are paramount. In return, working students receive:

Free place to live
Daily lessons
Coaching at horse shows
Shipping to events
Travel to major competitions
Free board for 1 horse (available to working students with a 6+mo commitment)

Winter Program

Ocala is without a doubt the place to be in the winter months. Yellow Rose Eventing offers housing/boarding/training packages for those wishing to come south for a week, a month, the whole season, or anything in between.

Working off lessons is also a possibility for some students.
